Debate Camp
In-Person Mtn House, 2-week Program
Grades 6 to 12 (with no experience). Offered at the MTN House location, a 2-week program,
2 hours each day, Mon-Fri. Total 20 hours program.
The class will focus on thoughtful and logical construction of written cases, understanding the order and structure of a debate, and building confidence in delivering speeches (including rebuttals) through drills, practices, advanced strategies, and constructive feedback. Students practice speaking fluently and persuasively. Debate is an excellent activity that enhances your ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and research arguments as they do in the academic realm. A minimum of five students' enrollment is required—a maximum of 10 students in class. The in-person class takes place in Mountain House at 19669 Mountain House Pkwy, Mountain House.
Lincoln-Douglas Debate Camp (Beginners): 2-week camp
In-person, each day, Mon-Fri, July 7-18 (10.30 AM - 12.30 PM), Total 20 hours
OR
In-person, each day, Mon-Fri, July 21-Aug 1 (10.30 AM -12.30 PM), Total 20 hours
OR
Advanced Debate camp (Two years of debate experience and must have competed in some tournaments), Total 15 hours
July 21- Aug 1, 2-week camp, each day, Mon-Fri, July 21-Aug 1 (6 PM-7.30 PM)

Cancellation/Refund Policy: The prorated process applies if the student withdraws before the last session of the program. This will be calculated based on the number of days students attended the sessions during the camp.
Payment Policy: The payment is due before the start of the program.
