In-person Debate Classes

Debate Classes. Beginner's and Intermediate level.

In-Person Mtn House

For grades 6 to 12 (with no experience) or one semester of experience. 

 1.5 Hours a week, 14-week program. An additional 10 sessions for extra practice during the semester (tournament Prep). Students who attended summer camps should also enroll in this session.

The class will focus on thoughtful and logical construction of arguments, understanding the order and structure of a debate, and building confidence in delivering speeches. Debate drills, 1:1 mock practice, learn advanced strategies, cross examination, and rebuttal. Students practice speaking fluently and persuasively. Debate is an excellent activity that enhances your ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and research arguments as they do in the academic realm. A minimum of six students' enrollment is required, with a maximum of 11 students in one class. Tournament fee is additional. The in-person class takes place in Mountain House at 19669 Mountain House Pkwy, Mountain House, CA. No classes during the Fall break (Oct 5-11).


Instructional + Extra Practice = Approx. 36 hours in a semester

Cancellation/Refund Policy: The prorated process applies if the student withdraws before the last session of the program. This will be calculated based on the number of weeks students attended the sessions during the camp. 

Payment Policy:  The payment is due before the start of the program.
