In-Person, SPAR Debate

SPAR stands for Spontaneous Argumentation

In-Person Mtn House

12-week program, with each session lasting 1.5 hours. Total 22 hours program including extra practice.

Students will kick off their learning journey with enjoyable activities such as vocal warm-ups, icebreakers, and Impromptu speaking, setting the stage for their exploration of public speaking. They will then progress to a Spar debate in the second week. Spar is a unique debate format that emphasizes quick thinking, persuasive speaking, and the ability to argue effectively with limited preparation time. It's a popular activity for introducing students to debate, and it's designed to help them develop essential skills like critical thinking, listening, and public speaking. These skills are not just taught, but nurtured throughout the course, ensuring that each student leaves with a strong foundation in public speaking and debating. SPAR stands for Spontaneous Argumentation debates. A minimum of six students' enrollment is required, with a maximum of 10 students in class.

The in-person class takes place in Mountain House at 19669 Mountain House Pkwy, Mountain House, CA. 12-week program, with each session lasting 1.5 hours. Total 22 hours program including extra practice.
